If you’re looking for a great family getaway or an ultimate hunting adventure at a place where you will be greeted with Southern charm and hospitality, then you must stay at the Main Lodge at Escondido Ranch. Just one night and you’ll see why everyone wants to come back again and again. With home cooked meals, luxury accommodations, superb hunting and picturesque views, Escondido is more than just another hunting ranch.
The Main House at Escondido Ranch is tastefully decorated inside and out. As you drive up to the House, you will notice the attractive white rock landscaping along the parameter of the house, accented with cacti and horn sheds from the native and exotic animals found on Escondido. During the evening hours and into the night, the outdoor landscape lighting sets a warm, relaxing mood in and around the outside porch.
When you enter the House, you will find yourself in a large dinning and family area, the walls of which are adorned by trophies and hides of the animals harvested on and outside of the ranch. A large indoor/outdoor fireplace will also serve you well for those late night stories about the day's hunting adventure.
As you retire for the night, you will have your choice of two bedrooms with two twin beds accented with either Cactus or Wagon Wheel themes, or the spacious “Star Suite” with two queen beds and two twin beds. For the comfort and privacy of our guests, all the bedrooms are equipped with full bathrooms.
When the day breaks, if your morning plans do not include hunting, you can join us for coffee on the front porch, and enjoy the view of the sunrise. With the large birds-of-prey hovering above trying to catch the early morning thermals or the exotic animals weaving their way through the wooded under growth to the river's edge, you'll be surrounded by the sounds, views and beauty of Nature.
When the sun sets, the fun is definitely not over as we will be glad to accompany you around the warmth of the outdoor fireplace. When you visit with us at Escondido Ranch, you are treated like family.
You can enjoy your stay with us at the Main House for $200/ night/ adult and $150/ night/ youth 16 years or younger, including meals and lodging.
Lodging only at the Guest House is $50/ weeknight/ adult ($70/ weekend night/ adult). Free stay at the Guest House for youth 16 years of age or younger when accompanied by a paying adult.
